BEAUTIFUL PLACES

MEDELLIN, VILLA DE LEYVA, BUCARAMANGA AND SANTA MARTA

Lost in Time Villa de Leyva

VILLA DE LEYVA

Villa de Leyva is a traditional and religious town, it is colder than Cartagena and it is recognized like a famous place to visit.

There are a lot of places to visit, like Galleries, Craft Shops, Museums, Restaurants, Hotels, also there is a big Cathedral in the center of the town, but for adventurous people there are some places where they can do canyoning, canopy, they can drive buggies or quad and another activite is ride a horse.

The food is fantastic, I think that the best restaurant is Casa Blanca, in this place all is exquisite and a beautiful place to eat desserts is Tartas y Tortas de La Villa, I recomend you to buy a little lemon pay, this is more delicious than the other desserts.

If you want to live an extreme adventure, I can talk you about activities that you should do.
The first activity es do canyoning, I did it, and it is really amazing, is fantastic to feel the water in the face, but it is the coldest water that I feel in my life; another activity is do canopy, it is longer and taller than other and an another fabulous activity is drive buggies or quad in the desert, I loved the speed and the landscape.
Really I recomend you to do these activities.

It is neccesary to such this activities, use sport clothes and be ready to soil, also is very important to use the  necessary equipment such as helmet, harness, in the case of canyoning, for the buggies the most important thing is to use seatbelt and in all the activities you have to follow the instructions in the specialized guide.
I assure you that with these tips spent an delightful vacation.

Villa de Leyva is a wonderful place to visit and its people are waiting with open arms!!

The Most Innovate City

MEDELLIÍN!!

Well, in this blog you will find many characteristics about this beautiful place in Colombia, and as we know , the most innovate city in the world, no only in Colombia, also in the rest of the planet..

Medellin is a little city, in Antioquia, but is the 2nd most inhabitated city in Colombia, aftes Bogota D.C.
When you arrive to Medellin, you can visit one of the mos important museums in the country , the MAMM the modern art museum of medellin, or take the metro that is the fastest mean o transport in the city and in the country, this are more organizated than trasmilenio in Bogota city.

The people say that the love living in Medellin because the weather is the best, is not too cold as Villa de leyva, but also not too hot as Santa Marta, they say that is the best place to live if you want to live in Colombia, the people are very happy, nice and darling.

With my exipirience living here , i tell you that you must visit this beautiful city, there are many people to meet, many places to found and many expiriences to live.

The typical plate of food is Bandeja Paisa, that you can found that in many restaurants, but my favorite is Sancho Paisa or Doña Rosa that are located near the airport. this exquisite plate include rice, egg, sausage, chicharron, ground beef, arepa, avocado and sweet plantains , and in some villages eat that with mazamorra.

Finally, I hope you visit my pretty town because is the Best!!!

¡ A PLACE YOU MUST VISIT!

!SANTA MARTA !

KNOW AS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL BAY IN AMERICA

A PLACE THAT YOU MUST TO VISIT

Santa Marta is one of the most beautiful colombian cities, this city is famous for has the highest coastal mountain in the world. in colombia is one of hottest cities. is hotter than Medellin, Bucaramaga and Villa de Leyva but its wheater is more cool than Barranquilla. Santa Marta is a amazing city, is more tourist than Bucaramanga and Villa de Leyva because their beachs  and sea are so fantastics, Santa Marta's beachs and sea  are clearer than Cartagena's beachs and sea. Santa Marta is caracterizated by has The Sierra Nevada Of Santa Marta. if you are in Santa Marta you can´t leave the city without visit the national park the tayrona.

The modern part of Santa Marta is more beautiful than the old part because is more innovated and organizate. the rodadero is the most famous beach in Santa Marta, this is a tradicional place there. but if you wanna go to a place calmer you must go to "Bahia concha" or "Playa Grande" these are the calmest places and excellent place for have a relaxing time. "Taganaga" is a popular beach where you can do extreme activities. in my personal opinion "Tataganga" is more interesting than "Playa Grande" or "Bahia Concha" because is a place for have fun a lot and have a woderful day.

Medellin is more cosmopolitan city than Santa Marta, but here you can enjoy of tropital activities because Santa Marta is more natural than medellin. Santa Marta is bigger than Villa de Leyva but both are some of the most amazing places in colombia.

BUCARAMANGA

The capital of Santander, in the day is calm and in the nigth a unique city that brings a lot of things to do.

Called as The Parks City or the Beauty City , Bucaramanga is also knowed because is a hot city and the cradle of the "Comuneros" revolution in Santander, is full of brave people and very interesting places to know. I lived my childhood in Bucaramanga and I still can't find the words to describe this paradise. Is a bussy city, full of sports, music, and art, closer to everything. Is bigger than Giron and Floridablanca, and together they conform the Metropolitan area of Bucaramanga.
I recommend, go to the Eloy Valenzuela botanic garden, the Cigarras Park, the Childrens Park, Zoo Park, Modern Art Museum. If you like to dance San Marino or Puerta del Sol are made for young people who like to have fun and enjoy the nigth live in Bucaramanga. Also you can go tho Mesa de los Santos and do glider. But if you go in family, the sweet of Floridablanca will catch you, is the home of the Candies Fair, made by candie makers who made art with candies, a very sweet place where you can find the best oblea in the country, and Girón, a small town who brings you all the rest of a colonial place closer to the noise of the city but more peacefull than Bucaramanga.

Clothes.

Bucaramanga is hotter than Bogotá or Medellín,but colder than San Gil or Barranca, so is recommended use loose clothes, sun pretector and drink a lot of water.

Food.

There is a food paradise.
Candies, Mute, Goat, Oreada meat (Jerky), rice soup, and a lot of tasty plates to degustate.

The Journey

You can fly to Bogota and then continue either by air or by road to Bucaramanga. By air you could choose a lot of airlines which will land you at Palo Negro international airport just west of downtown. By bus, the trip takes between 7-8 hours and through the mountains with great views of the countryside and the Chicamocha canyon.

Hope it will help you to discover the amazing place that is Santander.
